Certification
How
is certified.
Fourier is tested and certified for food-contact safety, heat, dishwasher and microwave use. Full documentation ships with every order.
The evidence
Every claim, independently tested.
Fourier is assessed by accredited independent laboratories, not self-declared. Five areas cover the questions a buyer, a port health officer or an ESG auditor will ask.
Food-safe to EU standards
Passed EU food-contact regulations for overall migration, heavy metals, phthalates and primary aromatic amines.
Meets California Prop 65
Lead and cadmium not detected under Proposition 65 listed-substance testing.
Microwave & dishwasher safe
Tested for microwave and dishwasher resistance; rated −30°C / −22°F to +180°C / 350°F with no toxic release.
GRS-certified material
Global Recycled Standard (GRS) certified; reclaimed-mineral material that gives a waste stream a second life.
Consistent quality
Manufactured under an ISO-certified management system with documented batch-level quality control.
Formaldehyde-free
No formaldehyde detected across all three EU 2020/1245 migration cycles.

Material safety
The melamine problem, and why
doesn't have it.
Most conventional "unbreakable" tableware is moulded from melamine-formaldehyde resin. Under heat and repeated service it can release melamine and formaldehyde into food, a known issue that regulators across major markets continue to tighten against.
Fourier is formaldehyde-free, with no formaldehyde migration under heat. The material is a bio-composite of reclaimed marine bio-minerals and GRS-certified recycled polymers, tested stable across repeated commercial service.
FORMALDEHYDE-FREE · NO MIGRATION UNDER HEAT
